ALTAR SERVERS

Altar servers are privileged and honoured to serve the priest at Our Lord's Altar.

Anyone can apply to become a server, male or female, providing they have the desire to assist the priest at Mass and other liturgies throughout the Church year, and have made their First Holy Communion.

After a period of probation the server is enrolled into the Guild of St Stephen and will then wear the bronze medal. Regular training sessions are held, because a good server doesn't just know what to do but why it is being done
