The Knights of St Columba is the largest organisation for Catholic laymen in the UK. It is a voluntary body of men who place themselves at the disposal of the Catholic Church, its priests, parishes, community and each other in charity, unity and fraternity.
Colchester Council 270 has been in existence since 1934, and currently has 30 members which are drawn from all the Colchester Parishes, Brightlingsea and Dovercourt. Our parish of St Teresa Lexden is very much under-represented.
